OnePlus calls the next Nord smartphone “Metal welded with Mettle.”
This refutes earlier rumors that the China-exclusive OnePlus Ace 3V, with its plastic/polycarbonate body, would be rebranded as the OnePlus Nord 4 for India and the global market.
Leakster Sanju Choudhary shared an image of the OnePlus Nord 4 on X, showcasing a metal frame and a dual-tone finish with two large camera sensors, a design departure for the brand.
Choudhary’s X post claims the Nord 4 will feature the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC, a 6.74-inch OLED Tianma U8+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2150 nits peak brightness, though it’s unclear if the display will be flat or curved. Leaks also suggest a 50MP primary camera and an ultrawide-angle lens.
Other key features include a 5,500mAh battery, 100W fast charging, an in-display fingerprint sensor, a stereo speaker setup, and an alert slider. The device is expected to run on Android 14 with OxygenOS 14, receiving three major OS updates and four years of security updates.
In a previous leak, Choudhary indicated that the Nord 4 could cost around Rs 31,999. It is still unclear if the Nord 4 will look similar to the leaked image.
