CMF Phone 1’s See-Through Camera Issue to be Fixed
Nothing’s CMF has confirmed that the Phone 1’s 2 MP depth sensor can sometimes reveal the internal structure of thin or semi-transparent objects, particularly black acrylic material. In simpler terms, the camera can capture see-through images. This issue, similar to one previously reported by OnePlus 8 Pro users, was resolved with a software update. The problem arises from the lack of an infrared light filter on the sensor, accessible only through select third-party camera apps. Co-founder Akis Evangelidis has confirmed that a software update will soon restrict this functionality.
