The upcoming Google Pixel 9 is set to feature rounded corners, symmetric bezels, and a redesigned camera island.
Google recently confirmed it will launch the Pixel 9 smartphone series on August 13, ahead of Apple’s iPhone lineup reveal. Despite multiple leaks, a new video circulating the internet shows the phone in full detail.
Posted by @hanibioud on X, the unofficial hands-on video reveals a pink-colored Pixel 9, potentially the “Peony Pink” from a May leak. The video shows the Pixel 9 with flatter edges and more rounded corners compared to its predecessor. The phone appears to be a dummy unit, as it isn’t switched on in the clip. The post also hints at a 256GB storage option for the Pixel 9.
The video corroborates earlier claims suggesting that the Pixel 9 lineup will feature a redesigned camera bar. Instead of spanning the entire width of the frame, it adopts a rounded pill shape similar to the Pixel Fold’s camera island.
The Pixel 9 is expected to be powered by the Tensor G4 chipset, likely without a significant performance increase compared to Google’s current-generation chipset.
