The Indian smart wearables company Hammer has introduced a unique pair of wireless earbuds named Hammer Screen TWS, featuring a distinctive on-case display. Here are the details on this pioneering product in India.
Hammer, a brand recognized for its affordable smart wearables in India, has introduced a new set of wireless earbuds named ‘Hammer Screen TWS.’ True to its name, this product features a screen on its case.
While Hammer isn’t the pioneer of the on-case screen concept globally, it stands out as the first to offer such a feature in the Indian TWS market. This innovation is akin to the JBL Tour Pro 2, which also includes a case display. The Hammer Screen TWS is equipped with a touchscreen, enabling users to effortlessly manage music playback, switch between different equalizer settings, and swiftly accept or reject phone calls directly from the screen on the case.
A promotional video indicates that the Hammer Screen TWS will feature a ‘Find My Earphones’ option on its screen, aimed at helping users quickly locate their earbuds. However, the specifics of how this feature will operate remain unclear. Additionally, these earbuds come with ‘Active Noise Cancellation,’ which users can activate or deactivate directly from the screen on the case.
Details such as the dimensions of the on-case screen, the driver size of the earbuds, and their battery life have not yet been disclosed by Hammer. The Hammer Screen TWS is currently open for pre-orders on the company’s official website at Rs 2,999. Due to high demand, Hammer plans to commence shipping the product from April 20.
