The newest MacBook Air, featuring the M3 chip, comes in 13-inch and 15-inch display options and offers up to 18 hours of battery life on a single charge.
Apple has officially launched its new MacBook Air, which is equipped with the M3 chip developed by Apple itself. The company boasts that this new model is “up to 60 percent faster” than its M1 counterpart and offers a battery life of up to 18 hours on a single charge.
This MacBook Air features a ‘Liquid Retina’ display capable of reaching 500 nits in brightness. The M3 chip includes a 16-core Neural Engine, designed to efficiently run AI-optimized models, enabling features like real-time speech-to-text, text predictions, and translations.
Additionally, the M3 chip is built with an 8-core CPU and a 10-core integrated GPU, which supports advanced graphics features like ray tracing and mesh shading. It also allows for up to 24GB of unified memory, enhancing the laptop’s performance capabilities.
The new MacBook Air models, available in both 13-inch and 15-inch sizes, boast an ultra-slim profile of “less than half an inch thick.” They come equipped with features like Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos, a 1080p camera, and three microphones for crystal clear audio. Notably, these laptops have a fanless design for silent operation and are compatible with MagSafe charging.
Apple highlights that the latest MacBook Air can support two external displays even with the laptop lid closed. For connectivity, they include two Thunderbolt ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The laptops are offered in four stylish colors: midnight, starlight, space grey, and silver.
Pricing starts at Rs 1,14,900 for the 13-inch model with the M3 chip, while the 15-inch version begins at Rs 1,34,900. Additionally, Apple continues to offer the MacBook Air with the M2 chip at a reduced price of Rs 99,900.
