The 2024 edition of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona is coming to an end. We witnessed some of the coolest tech products, especially smartphones. While some brands showcased upcoming products and prototypes such as bendable smartphones and transparent laptops, several brands also introduced their latest smartphones at the event.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is poised to be a top contender for the best camera smartphone in 2024. Featuring advanced hardware and Leica’s software tuning, this device stands out with its unique camera grip accessory, providing a physical shutter button for a more traditional camera feel, along with an additional battery. Equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra matches the performance of other leading Android flagships in 2024, boasting 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. It is priced at €1499 or Rs 1,34,818.

However, the company has revealed that the device features integrated hardware connectors, allowing users to attach various accessories or “smart outfits” to enhance functionality. Furthermore, Human Mobile Devices is fostering a community-driven approach by releasing the API and development kit, inviting users to create and develop their custom accessories for the HMD Fusion.

The Nubia Flip 5G is redefining the market for foldable smartphones with its affordability, tagged at $599 or around Rs 50,000, making it one of the most budget-friendly flip-style folding smartphones globally. It operates on the mid-range Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC and bears a resemblance to the TECNO Phantom V Flip 5G introduced in 2023. This device is equipped with a 6.9-inch primary foldable display alongside a 1.43-inch secondary cover display, offering a blend of style and functionality at a competitive price point.

Honor Magic 6 Pro

The Honor Magic 6 Pro, a top-tier smartphone, is energized by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and distinguishes itself for two groundbreaking features: 3D eye tracking and the capability to natively run a large language model, a first in smartphones. Its camera system is impressive, boasting a 50 MP primary sensor, a 180 MP telephoto lens, and a 50 MP ultra-wide lens. The device’s display features a dynamic-island-like notch (referred to as “magic pill”) that accommodates the 3D eye-tracking technology. The smartphone features a respectable 6.78-inch display, is powered by a MediaTek MT6789 processor, and comes equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, balancing affordability with performance and durability.
